For over twenty years, we have relied on excellent desktop genealogy software. These applications served us remarkably well in the era of manual data entry. They were designed to be digital filing cabinets, and they did a fantastic job.

GEDCOM 5.5.1 is the industry’s “Gold Standard” for interoperability. Crucially, almost all Large Language Models (LLMs) have been trained on millions of GEDCOM 5.5.1 files. They understand this format fluently.
Because we use this standard natively, the AI instantly understands the complex relationships, family structures, and evidence links in your tree. There is no translation required—the AI simply understands your data.

Being AI Native means playing perfectly with other tools you already rely on.
In older desktop apps, checking your spelling often meant exporting your text to a word processor, fixing it, and pasting it back. It was a slow process.
