Shared Media - Example using a Census Record![]() Private media can't be shared. We must first convert it to Shared media. Once converted to Shared media, we can add it to Persons, Families, Events, and Sources using the Shared Media Id.

For example, the census lists Edward Reed as a dockyard worker Add the shared media to the event, then in the event stream, we can see the census record listed as media for the occupation.
