Viewing Extended Family Events

Please review  GEDCOM ⟶ Shared Events  which discusses  Shared  events,
and shows how the  Extended  event stream can avoid the hassle of having to share events.

Select Extended to view the  Extended  events.

The  Extended  event stream shows the events of family members even if the event was not shared with them.
If we prefer not to share an event use the  Extended  event stream which will shows all events that belong to parents / siblings / children.
In this example, the extended event stream for Vera Sitch, shows the census event originally recorded under her brother Harry Sitch.
The  Event Details  column shows the  Owner  of the event (in this case Harry Sitch, the brother of Vera Sitch)

Click Extended to view the radius of the extends events
Persons and Families listed will have their events included in the extended event stream of the current person.

Extended events are very useful for census records and marriage certificates.
They avoid the hassle of sharing an event with every person listed on the marriage certificate or census.
